Pursuing A Career Path To Nursing

My Career Goals

As a little girl, every trip to the store ended the same way, be begging my mom to buy me another toy stethoscope, bandages, or a tiny medical kit so that I could rush home and play “nurse.” My stuffed animals, baby dolls, and family members quickly became my patients; to me, it wasn't just a game; it was a glimpse of a passion that would only grow stronger with time. I’ve always had a naturally nurturing heart, finding joy in jumping in to help others and doing whatever I can to make their day a little easier. While the toy medical tools have long since been put away, the desire to care for people has never left me. That's why pursuing a career in the medical field feels like closing a profession and more like following the person I have always been.

Educational Journey

As I was blessed enough to attend one of the best catholic schools in the state, Trinity High School challenged me to grow both academically and personally. Knowing I wanted to pursue nursing, I focused on math and science courses while making sure to stay well-rounded in all areas of my education. My teachers have encouraged me to think critically, work hard, and never stop asking questions. The foundation I've built at Trinity has strengthened my passion for helping others and prepared me for the next step towards becoming a nurse.

My Community Service

Giving back has always been an important part of who I am, i belive even a small acts if kindness can make a big difference. Over the years, I have helped make over 400 sandwich bags for those who are homeless and cleaned local farms to prepare them for the spring season, creating therapeutic outdoor spaces for autistic and disabled children and adults, and working with my lacrosse sports team to clean our school's stadium after games during football season. For countless winters, I've shovled/plowed my elderly neighbors' driveways during the winter, helped set up weddings at my family's wedding venue, and packed five-gallon buckets with supplies at my local donation center to be sent to underdeveloped countries. These experiences have taught me the value of hard work, compassion, and serving others is the most valuable lesson in life because we are nothing without community.

School Extracurricular Activities

Being involved in multiple clubs throughout my life and playing multiple sports every season has helped shape me into a well-rounded student while teaching me leadership, teamwork, discipline, and time management.

Community Involvement

Community involvement has shown me that the smallest acts of service often have the greatest impact. Every opportunity to give back has strengthened my compassion. Work ethic and commitment to serving others as I wish to pursue a career in nursing.
